It has finally come to outright war between Hezbollah and the Zionists. After a year of rocket and artillery attacks back and forth, the Zionists have crossed the border with advanced units, promising a “limited ground operation” although it is, as ever, unclear what the regime means by this euphemism.
This incursion follows weeks of severe carpet bombing, in which thousands of Lebanese civilians have been killed by American bombs dropped from American airplanes in an attempt to decapitate and demoralize the resistance. This campaign is still ongoing, with scores of Zionist strikes every night on populated regions of Beirut. The situation has become so dire that even Emmanuel Macron has now called for an arms embargo against the apartheid regime, defying his allies in NATO.
Although Washington issues their usual statements expressing grave concern about the humanitarian situation, they have stopped far short of any arms restrictions, let alone a full embargo. On the contrary, the US has offered their vassal state increased weapons and aid beyond what it asks for. There is more than just weapons, as well. The Americans provide all possible support to the Zionist entity, American intelligence is vital to their success. On top of providing the them with illegal access to it’s global FIVEEYES intelligence network, American recon and electronic warfare has been operating in the region almost 24/7, providing the IOF bombers with up to the second targeting information which they have used to a deadly effect in Lebanon.
Despite the best efforts of both Biden and Netanyahu, the Zionist terror bombings have thus far failed. Hezbollah retains operational control over it’s fighting forces and continues to launch rockets unabated. Even the infamous pager bombings, which killed hundreds and wounded thousands, seem to have had little real effect on the operational readiness of Hezbollah forces.
Of course, even a basic analysis of Hezbollah’s history would have testified to how unlikely this was. Although the media is loathe to mention it, Hassan Nasrallah is the third general secretary of Hezbollah. His predecessor, Abbas al-Musawi, was assassinated in 1992 on the order of Zionist prime minister and former Nazi collaborator, Yitzhak Shamir. Even after the assassination of the previous leadership, Hezbollah and the Lebanese people still rose up and successfully threw the Zionists out of their country.
The Zionists miscalculated, trying to use trickery and overwhelming firepower to win a victory before the fighting even started. This tactic speaks to their desperation, but the situation on the battlefield speaks to the truth behind that desperation. The IOF would not turn to such elaborate schemes if they believed they could win an easy victory on the battlefield. With all their tricks expended, the IOF must now face Hezbollah head to head, and about seven days ago their first troops officially crossed the line into Lebanon.
Although the Zionist regime’s military censorship is the strictest in the world, the information leaking out from their iron grip sounds grim indeed. From the snippets we can gather, the IOF spearheads have been stopped dead. There has been no progress for days as elite recon and armored units are falling into sophisticated multi-stage ambushes and being mauled to death one after another. When attacking from an ambush, Hezbollah gets to dictate the place and terms of the engagement, leading to situations where the IOF’s advantages in numbers and firepower are rendered meaningless.
According to Zionist sources, the resistance is fielding new, more sophisticated IEDs which are virtually impossible to detect. This slows the invasion to a crawl as engineering teams laboriously clear every building, while also potentially entering the kill zone every time. The preferred tactic seems to be using an IED to open the attack and stop the enemy’s advance, then covering the position in smoke to cause confusion as Hezbollah fighters open up with pre-sighted rockets, machine guns and mortars at close range.
After blinding and suppressing the enemy, elite Hezbollah assault squads will move in and destroy them in close-quarters combat, which makes it impossible for the Zionists to bring in their powerful fire support. All across the line of contact, the situation is the same. Zionist forces are falling into these deadly ambushes with dozens of killed or wounded as Hezbollah taunts them over loudspeakers then retreats back to their tunnels.
Well trained, equipped and highly disciplined Hezbollah forces have forced the withdrawal of several Zionist incursions already, inflicting severe and humiliating causalities on their reconnaissance units.
Even the introduction of armor has done very little to turn the tide.
The expensive defense systems which were supposed to protect the Zionist tanks and allow them to operate without an infantry screen have been proven worthless in over a year’s fighting in Gaza and are doing no better in Lebanon. Without enough infantry to protect them, the Zionists are throwing the tanks directly into the jaws of waiting Hezbollah anti-tank teams who have been feasting on their prey. Entire Merkava tank platoons have been destroyed in single ambushes, as the morbidly obese Zionist tanks must stick to the roads, making them easy prey.
