The Great MAGA Civil War of 2024: H1Bs, Elon Musk, the Silencing of the America First Movement

First they came for the Groypers...

Vindication is the most bittersweet of feelings. On the one hand, doesn’t it feel great to be right? On the other hand, being right about evil can really suck, especially when your country is a victim of the very evils you have been trying to point out for so long, only to be ignored until it is arguably too late.

In my last Substack article, I reflected on the year in review, and spoke briefly about how the “socially liberal, fiscally conservative” approach of the mainstream American left, which has been the status quo since Bill Clinton, has almost entirely lost its legitimacy among the American people. It has been crushed by MAGA twice, although only electorally. In reality, however, the first Trump administration really also was “socially liberal, fiscally conservative.” The only difference is that since Hillary Clinton in 2016, the Democrats became socially hyper-liberal, which has given America the illusion that Trump is the more “normal” option.

Elon Musk is proof of this, he is a self-admitted 2008 Obama-type Democrat. Elon only has backed the Trump campaign, after first backing Ron Desantis during the Republican primary, because he feels that Republicans now represent his moderate liberal values better than the Democrats. For some reason, the MAGA crowd has celebrated Elon Musk ever since he bought Twitter as a champion of free speech. Their praise of an admitted liberal is indicative of how MAGA has become unhealthily deradicalized since 2016.

This week, Elon Musk made contradictory claims stating that he wants to increase country caps on H1B Visas, but also that he only wants to bring in the top 0.1% best and brightest talent in the world to America. The policy he supports does not, however, back up this claim of his, such a small percentage would not require any changes to the current country caps on H1Bs. Musk replied to a post by Mario Nawful this week which reported on a shortage of 160,000 engineers in Silicon Valley alone with “we need more like double that number yesterday.” So if Silicon Valley needs 320,000 H1B engineers according to Elon (more than 10% of all engineers in the United States, not 0.1%), we can safely assume that Elon wants at least a million more H1B engineers throughout the entire country, if not millions. This has upset many people on the right who believe that we need to invest in Americans here in our country, not import labor from abroad.

Some of us, however, were never duped into believing Elon Musk was some sort of “based” rebel against the woke agenda, and have been critical of Musk for various reasons. Whether it be his history of union-busting, the fact that his wealth originated from his criminal father’s emerald slave mines in South Africa, or the fact that he has never really built a company, and rather just bought others’ such as PayPal and Tesla and claimed them as his own. However, these are traditionally more left-wing critiques of Elon Musk. Some on the right started to be skeptical of Musk when he dressed up in Satanic armor in 2022, but most of the right overlooked the clearly anti-Christian attire. This past week has been a little different. Elon Musk has, for the first time since buying Twitter, seen major opposition to his beliefs and agenda from the right-wing on Twitter and even a portion of the left-wing for his advocacy of increasing legal immigration to the United States. Mass legalized immigration keeps the wages and living standards of American workers lower, which is why the portion of the American left-wing that actually understands economics has been opposed to Musk’s agenda of mass legal immigration.

Between Musk’s history of union busting and advocacy of mass legal immigration lies the intersection between the right and the left’s critiques of Elon Musk. Pointing out these intersections is key to getting America to move beyond the left/right false dialectic. Silicon Valley, and American workers in general, need to unionize on a mass scale in order to protect American workers from being replaced by foreigners that corporations use to undercut their wages. If the government won’t protect the American worker, then the American workers must protect themselves, through unionizing. Those of us who have been pro-union hopefully will now be vindicated on the right. A pro-union right wing is good for the United States.

How Elon has responded to critique of his agenda has been just as interesting. Elon’s recent response to the MAGA base pushing back against his agenda resulted in the vindication of a prominent right wing figure, Nick Fuentes. Nick was one of the only right-wing pundits, if not the only prominent right-wing one, who refused to vote for Trump in the 2024 election, and he has been calling out the problem of the Trump campaign’s cozying up with legal immigration advocates and Big Tech liberals such as Elon Musk and Peter Thiel throughout the year.

Before the election, Nick predicted that censorship under the Trump administration would be even worse than what we have now. Say what you will, but under the Biden administration, America has enjoyed more free speech than we have in a long time. And we shouldn’t give Elon credit for that because he is a spy and a front for foreign interests that doesn’t even control his own money. He is merely a face. He is not some genius who runs 3 companies and also is able to spend all his time tweeting and playing Dota. It wasn’t Elon Musk’s decision to buy Twitter, it was his foreign handlers, who wanted to give Americans the illusion of free speech for a while, before really cracking down on it once they got their newly hijacked Trump administration in power. Over the past year, while Israel has committed genocide in Gaza, Twitter has still engaged in shadowbans, suspensions, and, through algorithmic manipulation, lowered the engagement of Pro-Palestine content creators on the app. Musk famously visited one of his handlers, Netanyahu, in Occupied Palestine in November of 2023, but not many people not have seen his meeting with India’s Prime Minister Modi in 2023 as well.

Now Trump is not even in office yet and Elon Musk has already begun to openly censor and crack down on the accounts of those who oppose his agenda. Yesterday, Elon Musk said, “The reason I’m in America along with so many critical people who built SpaceX, Tesla and hundreds of other companies that made America strong is because of H1B. Take a big step back and FUCK YOURSELF in the face. I will go to war on this issue the likes of which you cannot possibly comprehend.” He also stated that those in the Republican Party who are disagreeing with him on increasing legal immigration are “contemptible fools” and “must be removed from the Republican Party, root and stem.”

Those on the right who have been calling Elon out for who he truly is, a face for the globalist elite who is not an American nationalist and does not put the interests of the American people first, are losing their checkmarks on Twitter or, in the case of the America First movement, being outright suspended from the platform. Elon’s declaration of war on those who disagreed with him on increasing legal immigration coincided with the suspension of over a dozen America First movement Twitter accounts that were affiliated with the Project Groyper (@ProjectGroyp) Twitter page, and even some accounts that were not Project Groyper affiliates. The America First movement has been, throughout the election year, calling out the problem of mass legal immigration. So much for Elon being a champion free speech. Even though Musk publicly is against illegal immigration, illegal immigration doesn’t really affect elites like him, and Trump’s new “border czar” Tom Homan has stated that the incoming administration’s deportation plan will mainly “prioritize national security threats and violent criminals.” MAGA voted for mass deportations of illegal immigrants, but it’s looking like that won’t happen, while Elon Musk seemingly is going to get his way on mass legal immigration.

Here’s the deal: Foreigners like Elon Musk cannot be coming to our country, buying up our media outlets, and then policing the speech of Americans. Whether you agree with the core values the America First movement led by Nick Fuentes or not, you cannot support foreigners censoring him and those in the America First movement speaking out against the replacement of American workers by our elite, just so they can undercut the wages of Americans, causing the average person to have a lower quality of life so our elites can profit in the short term.

To those of us who don’t consider ourselves right or left wing, but rather observers of both, and supporters of those on either side of the aisle who put America’s interests first, we saw this week that Fuentes emerged vindicated over the American right-wing before Trump even entered office. Many MAGA pundits now rightly feel betrayed by the incoming Trump administration for its rhetoric surrounding increasing caps on H1B Visas and legal immigration in general. But they should’ve started feeling betrayed when Trump openly was saying well before the election that he wanted to increase legal immigration. Fuentes warned the right, and tried to get them to join him in pressuring the campaign to change their tune, but the right did not listen, and now they feel betrayed.

It wasn’t betrayal however, it was the agenda created by Silicon Valley that was openly declared to be the agenda of the 2024 Trump presidential campaign. Some on the left pointed out the hypocrisy of the Trump campaign in this regard as well, but the mainstream American right was not going to listen to any left-wing critics of the Trump campaign, even dissident left-wing critics who also sat out the election, about these sorts of things after how poorly the mainstream left has ran this country under the Biden administration. Nick was essentially the only one on the right who MAGA heard critiquing the campaign, but, while they heard, they did not listen. Major right wing figures like Laura Loomer, Jack Posobiec, and Ryan Fournier are only now critiquing the incoming Trump campaign for the rhetoric on immigration Nick has been warning about all year. Now, with Nick being vindicated on the right about Silicon Valley types like Elon Musk, it has never been clearer that the America First movement is the heir to MAGA, whether you like the movement or not.

If you recognized the revolutionary political consciousness of MAGA in 2016, you must recognize the revolutionary political consciousness of the America First movement in 2024. This is the reality that the pundits of the American right, and even the left, need to accept. Elon Musk and Twitter are attempting to silence and censor the America First movement because they have accepted this truth, they recognize the America First movement now bears the torch of the original MAGA movement from 2016, and therefore it is a threat to their and the rest of the globalist elites’ power. Certainly there are critiques you can make of the America First movement, but now is not the time with Elon censoring many of the semi-prominent figures in the movement who spread its message.

It is time for MAGA to wake up to what these Silicon Valley venture capitalists and tech entrepreneurs represent. Just the other day, Musk admitted that he thinks Americans who disagree with him on immigration are “retarded” and then admitted he really thinks Americans in general are “retarded,” even too “retarded” to be trained to do these jobs that we supposedly need to import hundreds of thousands if not millions of H1Bs for. These people do not care about the American people, they look down on us, and will undercut us for cheap foreign labor if it means getting even an extra penny of profit, even at the cost of losing our nation’s identity. Vivek Ramaswamy, whose career started as a biotech entrepreneur, recently made a post arguing, essentially, that the culture of legal immigrants is better than the culture of Native-born Americans, and that is why it is essential for us to expand legal immigration. And what has Vivek contributed to this country exactly? He is arguably the biggest Indian scammer in United States history! Before entering politics, as CEO of Axovant Sciences, him and his mother, Dr. Geetha Ramaswamy, faked the results of the Phase 2 trial of their Alzheimer’s drug in 2015.

“This trial conveniently claimed to demonstrate sufficient improvement to ‘support Phase 3’ trials. The aftermath was a triumphant $350 million IPO in 2015, followed by a drastic fall. By September 2017, the stock had plummeted 75 percent after Ramaswamy and his mother announced the Phase 3 trial's failure. Subsequent trials continued to disappoint, culminating in a 99 percent loss in value and a name change for the company,” reports Sam Nunberg in Newsweek.

The incoming Trump administration’s new department, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), is set to be ran by Vivek and Elon. The most efficient thing these fraudsters could do for our country is deport themselves.

One must also wonder how India, the country that would see the greatest increase in H1B Visa approvals if the country caps on this program were to be removed, can benefit from letting its semi-talented labor come to the United States. Remember, H1Bs are mainly for mid-skill level jobs in the US, not the “best and brightest” as Musk claims. China does not import foreign labor to fill jobs in China, and they are incredibly restrictive on allowing its citizens to immigrate to the United States, especially when the Chinese state invests heavily in education, from the primary level to the post-graduate level. They want a return on their investment in their citizen’s education, so they don’t let their talent leave easily. It’s certainly paid off, they are rapidly eliminating poverty faster than any other country in the world, they have infrastructure such as high speed rail spanning across the country, and they have cities that look like they are from the year 2084, not 2024. Investing in your own country’s citizens pays off, and China is proof of this.

India, on the other hand, seemingly has no desire to keep their talent from coming to our country en mass. There are seemingly no restrictions on their end for who can apply for H1B Visas, hence the decades-long backlog on H1B Visa applications in India. In fact, just last year Modi made it quite clear that he wants to keep H1B Indians in America as much as possible. He passed a law making it so that Indians do not need to return to India to renew their H1B Visas any longer, they can remain in the United States to renew these Visas. Why is India so interested in keeping Indians in America? After all, there must be some benefit to it for India. It certainly is not beneficial to the living standards of the American people. As Americans, we need to be conscious of Indians in high ranking positions having influence over American society, just as with Israelis or any other country.

Palantir Advisor Jacob Helberg, another figure Fuentes warned the right-wing about during the election, was recently appointed by Trump to serve under the Secretary of State as an economic policy advisor. Helberg is an anti-China hawk and a gay man married to Keith Rabois. Keith Rabois left Founders Fund this year to join Khosla Ventures, a venture capital firm founded by Indian-American Vinod Khosla. Khosla comes from a military family in India. His father and grandfather worked for Indian military intelligence. Khosla Ventures backed OpenAI this year to the tune of $405 million dollars. Musk co-founded OpenAI alongside Sam Altman and Peter Thiel, so they all owe the Indians.

The incoming Trump administration, which has been hijacked by Silicon Valley, will be less favorable to China, even more than they already are, and even more favorable towards India, which wants to send its people here, as highlighted earlier in the article. Vice President-elect JD Vance, as we know, is married to an Indian woman. Sriram Krishnan, the incoming advisor to the Trump campaign on Artificial intelligence, Vivek Ramaswamy, Vinod Khosla, all of these figures are indicative of a shift within Silicon Valley and the Trump administration towards India. Humans, being naturally tribalistic, like to do business with their own, and the Indians are no exception. So to answer the question of what Prime Minister Modi and India gain from sending its people to the United States, the answer is more business deals, more intelligence capabilities, and more political influence in the most powerful nation on Earth. In exchange, the capitalist class of the United States gets to undercut American workers with cheaper Indian H1B labor. This is profitable in the short-term, but China’s strategy of having an economy built on national sovereignty and market socialism would, if you were a gambling man, be the better bet for a long-term winning strategy.

The Israeli, Indian, and Silicon Valley elite want to turn our country into a Judeo-Hindu nation of serfdom. American patriots like those in the America First movement are going to fight to prevent this from happening, no matter how much parasites like Elon Musk try to silence them. Those of us who hope to see an America that ascends beyond the left/right false dialectic must recognize our allies on the right, such as the America First movement, and stand with them when their First Amendment rights are being violated.
